The ADHD Chapter is an initiative dedicated to empowering mental health professionals working with adult individuals diagnosed with ADHD.
Through expert-led training, an empirical and evidence-based stance, and collaborative practice, we aim to foster professional growth, enhance clinical skills, and drive advancements in ADHD treatment for adults. It intends to meet its objectives through awareness and training programs for various stake holders, MHPs at various levels of their professional growth.
The ADHD Chapter was born from a passionate conversation between its founding members regarding adult adhd diagnosis driven by the recognition of a critical gap in both- the care available for adults with ADHD, and the training provided to mental health professionals. We aim to bridge that gap.
ADHD in adulthood is often overlooked, misdiagnosed, or misunderstood, and under-served, leaving many individuals to navigate years—sometimes decades, without the support they need.
Many adults with ADHD describe a lifetime of being mislabeled as disorganised, unmotivated, or failing to meet their potential. Biases in healthcare contribute to delayed diagnoses, with ADHD often mistaken for anxiety, depression, or personality traits rather than a neurodevelopment condition.
We founded The ADHD Chapter to bridge this gap—offering expert clinical support to adults seeking clarity and equipping mental health professionals with the knowledge and tools to provide informed, compassionate care.
