Diagnostic Process FAQs

The process usually begins with:

  • Initial consultation (90 minutes): review of symptoms, case history, and co-occurring conditions
  • Psychometric testing & questionnaires
  • Follow-up sessions, if required

Reports for formal purposes are shared after the evaluation process is completed. Timelines vary depending on the complexity of the case. A standard duration is 8-10 working days.

If unsure, book an inquiry call first. Our team will guide you on the most appropriate professional to meet your needs.

If possible, yes. Childhood history is an important aspect of the diagnostic process. A reliable informant such as a parent or family member can provide valuable insights.

  • Notes on current challenges in work, academics, or relationships

THERAPEUTIC PROCESS FAQs

Sessions usually last 45–90 minutes. The duration of therapy depends on symptom severity, therapy goals, and the therapeutic approach used. Some clients benefit from short-term therapy (6–12 sessions), while others may continue long-term.

A full diagnostic evaluation may not be required. However, we recommend a first psychotherapy intake session (90 minutes) that includes a functioning interview and a screener. This ensures a comprehensive understanding of your current challenges and informs your treatment plan.

Therapy is tailored to each client. The number of sessions depends on your needs, severity of concerns, and treatment response.
